VI Conference of Road Safety in Kazimierz Dolny

VI Conference of Road Safety “Rescue Road – one of the pillars of the National Programme for Improvement of Road Safety”, organized by Polski Kongres Drogowy  was held in January 28-29 in Kazimierz Dolny. A presentation “Road rescue corridors” was shown by Janusz Bohatkiewicz, PhD, Marcin Dębiński and Michael Jukowski (Lublin University of Technology, EKKOM Sp. z o.o.).

Polski Kongres Drogowy, in cooperation with the Provincial Centres of Road Traffic in Lublin organized a conference, whose main theme was the road rescue system. A partner of the Conference of the Motor Transport Institute in Warsaw, under the patronage of Marshal of city of Lublin and Commander of the State Fire Service.

The conference gathered representatives of the road authorities, Provincial Road Safety Councils, companies equipping roads and scientists. Presented topics concerned: the system (organization, financing, functioning), technology (equipment of rescue units, medical facilities, innovative solutions) and circumstances (notification, cars, sending notices, road safety devices to help access the accident).
