Project and construction of Muzyczna St. completed in Lublin

May 26 afternoon, Muzyczna St. in Lublin was open for road traffic. Its construction lasted from October 2015. It will serve the Metropolitan Railway Station as well as supporters of the European Youth Backetball League.

The street is 757 meters long and starts on the extension of Stadionowa St. in the area of the Arena Lublin, and ends at the intersection of Narutowicza St., Nadbystrzycka St. and Głęboka St. Within the scope of the project a new bridge was built on Bystrzyca river: a one-span, reinforced concrete arch with a span of 75 meters and a length of over 95 meters. Muzyczna St. is a single-carriagelane street with four lanes, two of which are destined for public transport.

With the completion of the project, the traffic organization was changed in the area of Szczebrowski St. and Muzyczna St. This inlet will operate permanently only in right-handed relationships. This means that drivers leaving Szczerbowski St. will be obliged to turn right towards the junction with Narutowicza St., Głęboka St. and Nadbystrzycka St. Szczerbowski St. will only be accessible from the direction of the bridge. There will be no such a possibility for people going from the intersection of Narutowicza St., Nadbystrzycka St. and Głęboka St.
