EKKOM prepared a post-execution analysis for PKP PLK. The analysis focused on adverse impacts of traffic on areas requiring noise protection for the project “Modernization of the railway line No. 8, section Warszawa Okęcie – Radom”.
Noise measurements were performed at 8 measuring points and 1 reference point. There were also train traffic and train speed measurements and meteorological conditions analysis. In addition, acoustic calculations were performed in accordance with legal regulations, the actual impact of the investment and traffic noise on the environment was determined, and the effectiveness of the acoustic protection measures was assessed.
Noise measurements were performed by EKKOM’s Research Laboratory, accredited by the Polish Center for Accreditation.
