In 2017 Ekkom prepared documentation in the environmental impact assessment process for the District Road Administration in Nowy Sącz (Poland). The scope of the project was a reconstruction of a 4-km section of the 1520K district road in Piwniczna Zdrój and 5 km of the 1505K road in Gródek and Biała Niżna.
The environmental decision was obtained within two months from the opening of the proceedings.
On 7 August 2017, the Mayor of the City and Municipality of Piwniczna Zdrój, and on 24 August 2017, the Mayor of the Municipality of Grybów issued the environmental decisions for the implementation of both projects.
The detailed Project Information Sheet and effective dialogue with stakeholders of the project proved to be sufficient to issue an environmental decision without undue delay. This will enable to obtain funding for construction works.
